Ahh Summer…the season of long sunny days, sandcastles and plenty of splashing in the pool (or Gulf!) Here at TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach, we have nothing but summer fun on the agenda!

The most talked about beach activity this season has been our brand NEW High Tide Slide, which now has not one, not two, but THREE different slides to zoom down! The kids (and adults) are already loving our new and improved High Tide Slide.

The best part? The High Tide Slide is now included in your stay! So feel free to take the plunge again and again.

Our Splash Island Water Park is back in the Gulf, all ready for your family to bounce, climb and slide. Or if you prefer a more relaxed approach to your day on the beach, snag one of our floating cabanas and enjoy the glistening Gulf while soaking up the sun.

For the adventure seeker, our JetLev has been quite the popular activity. Strap into this jet pack and fly above the Gulf like James Bond! Many guests have described it as a once in a lifetime experience.

Ever tried surfing? Our WaveJet electronic surf boards are perfect for beginners, as well as veterans. We even have a surf school to help teach you the basics!

Wave runners and a banana boat are also available for coasting the coastline.

Want to try something without a motor? Take in the sights of the coastline with our paddleboards.

Bocce ball, cornhole, tetherball and volleyball are also available on the beach, and the perfect way to spend time with friends and family.

Off the beach the kids love doing flips on our bungee jump and taking a spin on our gyrosphere.

We also have everyone’s favorite pirate, Captain RedBeard performing his pirate show twice a week alongside First Mate Blaze and his parrot, Bones.

When night falls, TradeWinds’ Dive-In Movies are the perfect way to end the day.

Fisherman Tim is also on hand at our Guy Harvey Outpost property for all your fishing needs! Learn the basics of fishing, take a beach walk, fish at sunset, learn how to cast a net and even get your fishing license.
